Ranged Barbarian Powers

Swiftkin Skirmish

You gain the swift instinct power. Whenever you attack with a weapon that has the heavy thrown property, you gain a +2 bonus to damage rolls for each [w] of the power, or a +3 bonus if you’re two or more squares away from the origin square of your last attack. In addition, whenever you bloody an enemy, you may shift a number of squares equal to your Dexterity modifier as a free action.

Reckless Hawk Rage: Barbarian Attack 1
The spirit of the hawk sets your heart ablaze, the feathers of your tomahawks fluttering as you dive into the fray.

Special: If any attack you make with this power provokes an opportunity attack from an enemy, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Strength modifier before the attack.
Hit: 1[w] + Strength modifier damage per attack.
Miss: Half damage.
Effect: You enter the rage of the reckless hawk. Until the rage ends, whenever one of your attacks would provoke an opportunity attack from an enemy, you gain a bonus to all defenses and damage rolls against that enemy equal to your Dexterity modifier for the duration of the attack.

Stalking Wolf Rage: Barbarian Attack 1
Your foes can only catch brief glimpses of your form as you dart across the battlefield, like a wolf tracking through the woods.

Effect: You can shift your speed. You enter the rage of the stalking wolf. Until the rage ends, you gain a +5 bonus to Stealth checks and don’t take the penalty for moving more than two squares. Additionally, you gain a +2 power bonus to damage rolls when you have combat advantage.

Effect: Use this power before rolling initiative. You can make two initiative rolls and take the higher result. Also, you can take an extra move action during the first round of combat (or during the surprise round, if you are allowed to act during that round).

Your foe thinks he has you cornered. He’s wrong.

Hammer Bounce: Barbarian Attack 3
Your weapon, guided by air spirits, ricochets off one enemy and into another.

Effect: Make an Athletics check to jump with a +10 power bonus. You are considered to have a running start and can move as far as the check allows. You may make the following attack at any point during the jump.

  • Hit: 3[w] + Strength modifier damage, and the target is blinded until the end of your next turn.
  • Miss: Half damage, and the target is not blinded.
    Effect: You enter the rage of the sudden eclipse. Until the rage ends, you gain a +5 power bonus to Acrobatics and Athletics checks. In addition, whenever you hit a creature with an attack, your allies have concealment against that creature until the end of your next turn.
